Mdoda’s foray into broadcasting commenced as a newsreader on Wits radio before she transitioned to Highveld After Dark, where she honed her skills and garnered experience in the media landscape.

In November 2015, she assumed the role of co-host for the sixth season of the immensely popular reality television show, Our Perfect Wedding, showcasing her ability to engage and entertain audiences.

Simultaneously, Mdoda showcased her acting prowess by portraying the character Thabisile Cebekhulu on The Road, a Mzansi Magic telenovela, in the same year.

Her versatility shone through when she participated in Dancing with the Stars SA in December 2017, displaying her flair for dance and entertainment.

In early 2018, Mdoda ventured into hosting with the television game show Your Next Million, demonstrating her ability to engage and entertain audiences in a variety of formats. Shortly after, she joined Metro FM to co-host the Weekend Breakfast Show with Mo G, further solidifying her presence in the radio industry.
